We are finally home! I am so excited to have Jenna sleeping in her bed tonight! Ty even said he's going to sleep in Jason's bed..so I get the WHOLE king size bed to myself!!! YAY!!
Jenna has 2 new teeth..her 1 year molars I believe. She also said bye the other day. It was intentional too! I told her to tell someone bye..normally she waves..this time she waved AND said bye! Yay!!
Jason got his first birthday invitation from school today. He is so excited! He wrote the kid a letter AND drew a picture! I'm so excited to see him finally socializing.
Jake is pretty excited for tomorrow. We are going to participate in Kites Over Enid. He loves Guiness Records..buys the new books every year. So he's pretty jazzed to participate in something that could become a world record! If you haven't checked it out click on the link...kites over enid.
I had more to write but realized I still have several loads of laundry to do from the trip so I better get to it!

Keepin updated
In this blog my comments will be in red. I'm not really going to share my feelings b/c frankly it takes too much freaking time to express on here. But I wanted to get the info out so that people can be aware. So I heard about Obama airing a speech to school age children in their schools on Sept 8. I personally wasn't down for this. If you haven't heard about it..Here's an article...if you don't like the article or it doesn't provide enough info. do a google search..there's plenty of info.
Obama speech for school children
Tyler and I talked about it as parents and had a letter written to the school. We were going to sit on the letter one more day to see if any new info came out and see if our letter needed to be revised after being able to fully soak our feelings on this. Luckily, we don't have to send the letter as Enid Public Schools will NOT be airing this!!
Onto other news...there is a video out called "I Pledge." You can find the video here. I Pledge
What really bothered me about the video..is at the end. Demi Moore says..I pledge to be a servant to our president. WHAT??? If you remember right...Obama wouldn't salute the flag..if you forgot..here's that link..Obama salute and if you think it was just a still picture of people getting ready to salute..nah..it was the whole song. You can find that video to if you do a search. But...I have seen other pictures where he has done the salute. So..form your own opinion...maybe he just didn't feel like doing it that day.
Ok...now we are on to national healthcare. October 2008, Hawaii dropped the only state universal child healthcare program in the country. If you need that link..here it is. It's old news..but here ya go.Hawaii children healthcare You might ask why. People who were paying for private health insurance quit paying for it and obtained the free insurance. Now if we apply this to the whole country...the end result would be that most would be on free healthcare, for which the workers are paying taxes on, and bankrupts the nation.
Social Security and Medicare. Social Security payments are projected to not rise in the next 2 years. Not only that. Their medicare premiums are going up. Here's another article for that if you would like to read it.Social Security It may only seem like a little to some, but to people who live on this fixed income and have no means of projecting more, that little is a lot to them.Anyway. These are just SOME of my concerns that are going on in our country.
I hope all of you are staying well educated in ALL aspects. I just wish I had more time to stay up to date on it all!
